DIY For Kids #5 Notebook Cover

Hello marshmallows!!! :)

How are you doing today??

So because is already school time, I'm coming today with Notebook Cover DIY.

I'm not a specialist, I'm not good in that but still I'm trying and doing my best.

In this post you can see my cover of my notebook which I'm gonna use for writing down the inspirations for blog post and YouTube videos. 

Even is not looking beautiful, and is not perfect, I already like it!!!

So what I used and what you will need to do your notebook cover is:

- notebook with hard cover (I love red color, so that's why red cover too :))
- washi tapes
- scissors, normal and small size
- double sided glue tape
- glitter
- piece of  a waxkoord and bedels (i have mine in ring shape with little hard inside and saying "Protection")
- printed letter and drawings (those ones i found on the internet, copy and just printed out)

 

So here is Step by Step how I made it :) Enjoy watching!!!

 

First I put the bedel in the waxkoord and tied a knot in the end of it, so the bedel won't fall out.

Then I put it through the centre of the notebook and taped it outside with the washi tape.

Next I took the washi tapes and so as on the second picture I taped them on the notebook, on the bothsides.

Then I printed out "My Inspirations" and cut the letters out with little the scissors.

Then I measured how much double tape I'm gonna need, and taped the letter on it.

After that I sprinkled it with some white and red glitter :) So sassy :) And then I decided to put some colorless nail polish to secure the glitter from falling off.

Then I printed out some nice pictures which I liked. I made a square from double tape and put the picture there and so as before i put glitter. I'm sooooooooo fancy ;)

DIY For Kids #4 Autumn decorations 1 "A Blackberry Hedgehog"

Hello Pumpkins!!!
Today I'm coming with some quick, easy but maybe kind of "expensive" DIY. I mean I didn't pay a lot for it. It was not more then 6 euro, but still comparing to last diy's i posted here, this one can seem a little bit more expensive :)
It's really beautiful weather outside. Sunny and colorful. The leaves already starts to fall, and creat a beautiful colorful carpet on the streets :)

Ok, so here is my first proposition of "Autumn decorations". The other one will come in other posts, of course ;)

"A blackberry Hedgehog"

What you need is:
- metal tray, can be also plastic if you have it near by ;)
- bag with moss
- plastic berries
- LED tea light (is more safety then normal candle, but if you know that you're not going to put the candle on fire, then put it there dor beter smell)
and the most important star of this decoration
- Hedgehog

So here in short I will show you how i made it :) You can of course add some leaves or pine cones, which you can find outside. Go for a walk, enjoy the weather and later make something nice for your house. Kids will love it, I guarantee you that!! :)

Step one: Put the moss in the tray.

Step two: Put the hedgehog between the moss, and make it looks how you like :) Then decorate with berries :)

     Step three: Put the LED tea light where you wish

And KABOOOM the decoration is done!! Nice and easy!!!

Hello Pumpkins!!!
Yes, it's already September, and this September I will try to surprise you with some nice DIY's ;)
Already having some ideas in my head but still have to work them out.
I'm waiting for the light which I've ordered, and then I can recored the DIYs for you, great right? Or am I the only one who is excited? ;)

DIY For Kids#3 Bookmark

Heeeeelllloooo my little pumpkins!!!! :)

Today a new DIY!
Did you ever forget where you were reading?
Yes? Then this DIY is perfect for you :) Those bookmarks are easy to make, quick and also funny.
It's almost a school time ( maybe for some of you it is already school time) so that's why I prepared a nice DIY which can help you with studing.

What you need is:
- paper A4 in color you will like to
- scissors
- glue
- color pen and pencil
- set square or a ruller
&
as always your imagination :)

Before I prepared some "eyes", " horns", "teeth" voor my Bookmark which will be a " dragon"  ;)

First draw 3 squares, so as you can see in the picture, 8x8 cm.

Then I took the green marker and drew a rind.

Then I cut everything out, but DON'T separate the squares!

Bend the squares like in the pictures.

Then glue the inside of the squares, so as you can see in the picture.

Bend the triangle like that but don't glue it to the part where we drew the rind. Drew some rind on the side of the triangle which will be on top.

It supposed to look like that :) Then cut the teeth and eyes and glue the "teeth". After that, glue the one side of the triangle on the top of the other one, where now you have the teeth :)

Glue everything on the top ( on the thicker part which we were bending).

And here you go!
You did it!!!!
Great job!!
Now go away from the computer and read some nice book! :)
